Im still looking for a supplier of hatching eggs or young chickens in or near Chelmsford Essex

Also, welcome contact with anyone keeping larger number of chooks in Essex area who might share with me how theyre doing it.

Would hasten to add this is purely for my own hobbyist ends rather than commercial

Hi BBT.  Simon Skinner of Poulet Anglais delivers to Essex, why don't you give him a call on 01790 763066 or 07787 533325.

He's very poplar at the moment, so sometimes has trouble supplying day old table chicks, but has plenty of hatching eggs.  He breeds Hubbards and we don't buy from anyone else!

Mind you saying that, we did take surplus chicks off him last week!

typically,  saw a listing on ebay for Hatching eggs for Sassos(?) but didnt see it until it had finished

PS Couldn't wait, so have rung him     Hatching egs for 35p each and Day olds for 80p each   brilliant, and he delivers just 25 mins away every couple of weeks,  so I can drive up and meet the driver
