One of our hens will not and has never layed an egg, is this possible,don't all hens lay eggs ?  They are all around 6 months old,and its been the same story~6hens,5 eggs.

Are you sure it's one who's never laid as opposed to them all laying but not all every day? Does that make sense?

Our Rosie, an amberlink never laid an egg in her life!  And I thought one of our Goldlines was never going to lay, as we got them in the August at POL.  not one egg did she lay until the following March!

So don't give up on her yet!!!!

hi alisonwo! rare poultry auction on once a month at netheravon site on saturdays - usually around the 20th, ive just got back from today's - last one for the year is sat. 21st november then i dont think there is another one until feb. you can get info off their website (southern counties auctioneers) & download catalogue about week before sales. great day out - def worth a visit
- sorry lorie, got side tracked! - ive had a thought, if i get more hens that will increase the chances of more eggs, i'll run that by my OH (did buy another POL bantam today so thats a good start!
