Earthing up potatoes
« on: May 10, 2007, 08:11 »
I planted my potatoes a few inches deep and piled about 4 inches of soil on top, and I now have lots of leaves, but I haven't earthed them up again.   Should I have done this already, or do I wait until the leaves are a certain height

Sorry if it's a really stuped question

No not a stupid question charliesmum, earth them up now, and again in a few weeks time.
I usually earth up as soon as there through by an inch or two.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
