Is it to late to plant my main crop potatoes and if not any one got any ideas where i may purchase some from my local garden centre have now run out just my luck.

Be quick and try wilko's or your local farm, the one near me is selling marfona at 50p a kilo.  :wink:

I hope not, our first lot of seed potatoes went mouldy before we planted them, and the new lot have just come in the post so we are planting them this week! Its our first attempt at growing any vegetables and theres lots of guess work happening around here! the garden in our last house was just a gravelled yard and now we have a huge garden so we had to take advantage of it. We shall see how it goes :)

Mine have only been in a couple of weeks now and are going strong!

Wilko's near me still had them last weekend.

Tesco and wack em in the dates are the earliest you can plant. 16weeks after planting should not be after late september(my opinion). Late one soon catch up  as they do not sit in the ground shivering. :lol:

Rekon you could go a bit later these days with the warmer weather frankie, don't think we had a frost till mid Nov.
