today i asked the council if i can extend my run from 10 m by 6 to 10 by 8 metres an it looks like i may have permission although i have to wait for them to see my plans before they give me an anwser in writing so it mite be a few weeks yet .

what i am looking at doing is keep the main fencing in place  and grass over the extended bit but i will cut a frame into the main fencing so that i can fit though and when the grass grows let the girls out there on a sat an sun but keep them away from it from mon - to fri  but i dont know how long the grass could last for or do i just let them have that area 7 days a week . also i was thinking about converting some of that area to house 4 quail birds as i like the idea of having some or would they be alright to kept in a run an house within the main run but kept fenced of from the big girls ? i dont know what to do  i dont really want to get anymore larger birds as i feel 22 is enough , although in time i may just be building a smaller run on my other plot where possible i could house the quails on thier own { already have permission for that but i want it in writing }  but do u reckon guys ?
