Aaargh - I just wrote a really long post and the internet connection crashed and lost it.
Basically, I was asking how long it takes for Milbenex to kill mites? I sprayed the inside of the shed today at noon, and thousands of little suckers crawled out from every nook and cranny, but by this evening they are still not dead. The shed stinks though, so plenty went on. If Milbenex is supposed to kill them dead instantaneously then I am in trouble - some kind of super-mite.
So far I have covered EVERYTHING with Diatom, ends of perches smeared with vaseline, gone through gallons of Permethrin, even had a go with a blowtorch. Me and my mum had a week of not talking after we painted the insides of the shed with that paint you use to cover cracks in ceilings - it does have 2 advantages; 1. the smaller cracks are all filled in, and 2. because the shed is now white inside you can see where the blighters are hiding. But they just won't die. I am getting a bit fed up, and am hoping someone tells me the mites die a slow death with Milbenex, otherwise that hasn't worked either.
