Look on ebay "Debris Netting".
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

"Kristen, where did you get your scaffolding netting from? "

ebay seller tarpaulinstogo - no doubt there are other sellers on eBay. I picked the 3M width to provide enough height for Brussels in my 4' wide raised beds - its pushing against the top of the netting, and a few butterflies have laid-through the netting there.

I'm going to make some longer arches for the Brussels next year - so that they support the maximum height, and the netting only just touches the ground.

All the other crops have been fine with my "standard" arches.

I'm going to net some other crops next year - my White Swiss Chard was completely eaten by pigeons - but they left the Rhubarb Beet and the Bright Lights one. (I read that the white Swiss Chard tastes better, and is less inclined to bolt, but I wouldn't know!! :(
