I made a batch of crab apple jelly, I was so determined to make it clear, no one went in the kitchen or near the straining fluid and its still cloudy
It tastes great but I would like a clear jelly

What did you strain it through? Suggest straining again. I use j cloths which filter most stuff out. Best thing I can suggest. Also, when you heat the jelly with sugar, it clears a bit anyway.

Mine was cloudy until after I added the sugar and boiled it, so if you haven't yet done that bit then my experience would say don't worry.

It cleared abit once I added the sugar but no completely, not that it made any difference as they have used one jar already with dinner
Mine wasnt a firm set rather like a thick apple sauce but hey ho I didnt get any complaints
