Grace, my Plymouth Rock, is now about 30 weeks old and up to now hasn't laid at all.  Can anyone give me any idea when I might expect her to start laying?  I know that pure breeds can start later than hybrids but just wondered how long it might be.  Also, do PR's lay a brown egg?

My pure bred cuckoo maran only started laying last saturday and shes a bit over 30wks, never thought she was gonna do it.   Nickyx

have a PR bantam, lays a light cream egg, she started laying early, but i dont know about a full size one.
make sure she only has treats in the evening, and layers during the day, too many treats can put them off laying.
if she is fit and well, she will lay when she wants too, sorry, not when we would like.
frustrating isnt it ?
