CattinJ - I'm so glad it's not just me, I am exactly the same.  The chook house is in the back garden and we sleep in the back so the minute there is any noise in the garden, I am up and looking out of the window.  The first night we had the girls, I even dreamed about flippin' foxes!

PS to Ice - when I first got my cats, they had Evian water in the bowls.  Really
