Compost questions
« on: April 29, 2007, 21:32 »
Hi
I bought some compost today, thinking it was multi purpose and my hubby plannted leeks and I repotted my tomato seedlings.  On closer inspection it turned out to be pure compost.  Will the seeds germinate, and the seedlings survive? Or should I re-pot again, and hubby re-sow?
Anyhelp gratefully received

I'm not really sure of the difference but leeks will be happy in just about anything.  I'd leave all as-is for both leeks and tomatoes.

Thanks for your comforting reply, I'm not sure what the difference is either but it had a scary warning at the bottom of the bag saying it wasn't a multi-purpose.  I'll leave things as they are.
Thanks again
