hello all you duckie people!  the muscovies are 9 weeks old now and even though i have a bowl of fresh water for them they dont touch it, preferring the green pond water!  when should i worm them? and is it ok to use the flubenvet i use for the chooks? and (sorry i know lots of questions so early) any tips on giving it to them!? i still have a huge pot of the old style flubenvet, not the pack for small flocks!

any advise welcome   :happy:

Hi Debbie.

I think Kate has used Flubenvet before. I would imagine the same dosage as for chooks.

I have used flubenvet on the ducks as they are in with chooks and was easiest way. Mixed same amount into food for them as the chooks (they ate a little more of the food I mixed it up with making up for their increased body weight if that makes sense  ). Seems to have done the trick and they are happy healthy quackers.

I use flubenvet and just follow the instructions for geese (I think).
