Just picked a load of sweetcorn, can anyone tell me the best way to freeze it and if you have to blanch it first .Many thanks

Must confess that I never blanch sweet corn, nor peas. We cut corn off the cob, bag it and freeze it. It rarely lasts long enough to deteriorate in flavour or texture. Peas go fairly quickly as well. Other items definitely get blanched.
