If you want to keep the hen  quiet while you clean her up an old sock over the head will do the trick, a hole in the toe of the sock is a bonus as the beak can poke through it. :)

Hope she is fine, she has not gone on her perch tonight, sat with the broody one on the henhouse floor - have given her some antibiotic as the vet said, without seeing her due to Suzy's stress levels, if its a fungus that will not necessarily finish her off but she might get an infection through her skin and that would - gosh its stressful worring about them. ???
