Is it worth buying any seed compost now if they are on offer.I was thinking it might be ok to keep till the start of the seeding season next year.

I have read where its best to buy fresh so not so sure.

My question always is - how do you know how long stuff has been in the bag before you buy it?

At this time of the year, I'd be wondering if it was on offer to clear the shelves of old stock so to speak.

Just a thought.
