Ive got three plants. though one for a (sad matey competition ) marrow only

I can not believe how many we are getting, and the old chestnut of cant give them away is coming true

I tried them fried tonight for the first time though - they were delish!

I have got four plants and haven't had a single courgette so far. I am beginning to think that planting sweetcorn round them wasn't so clever (even if the sweetcorn is doing well).

As they say, you live and learn! ::)

For us the sweetcorn has been rubbish this year but the courgettes are doing better but not as good as the previous two years??

Courgettes are one of my fav veg, LOVE em', in particular fried slowly in some butter  ;).
Chinese Proverb - Man who puts Meat and Peas in same pot, very unhygenic!! ;o)

Our sweetcorn is in the next raised bed over, from the courgettes and we havent had any problems maybe they are just behind  :)

My first two were the same and then they started properly throwing them at me on a daily basis  ;)

Don't know what happened, but my plants are looking very pale, and the fruits (the few that have come so far) are a very light shade.

The ones we had last year (same seed batch) were lush dark green plants, and heavy cropppers...  a mystery to me...  :(

This is my first year growing and my courgettes are unstoppable  :). I have two plants in a big pot and they just keep giving! I know what you mean about people turning their noses up though!

If I see one more blimmin' courgette I'll flip I tell yer.. :tongue2:

We planted 4 ( newbies that we are )... 2 under the Munty - which is looking fabulous by the way -  and 2 next to the BNS.
We have been cropping for about 3 weeks now.....  loads and loads of the little blighters!

Today I even found 2 more plants on the plot that I certainly didn't put there   - so now have even more courgettes on the way
