« on: August 03, 2009, 15:37 »
Well...after returning to the comfort of home after the sweat and toil of the Amazonjust LOOK at the harvest I returned to collect!!! I'm SOOOOO chuffed!!  :D :D :D :D

Well done to doodles for keeping things alive while I was gone!!! She pulled a blinder with the chucks...spotted the mites and killed the wee *!! (Mites not chickens!)

Nice haul, Mick.

It's often difficult to tell from a photo, but it doesn't look as though the foliage on your onions hasn't flopped over yet. They may not have been quite ready.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

yeah, it had gone over on most but they'd been battered by the weather so we just decided to lift them as they're all a fair size.

either that or we're still too keen! lol!

ah...it's all about perspective....what you fail to realise is that those onions are the size of footballs!!  :D

....not sure what that says about the size of the chucks in the background!!
