Oooh my hoe lines are lovely and straight - not!  :blush:

My paths were lovely and straight - they were measured so that the centre one was dead central then we decided to extend the left hand beds so now its off centre which really annoys me!  I dont know if I can survive the anguish of having off centre paths - does this mean that I have roman blood in my veins - Always proudly announced I was half Welsh and Half British and I can't change that to say I am a 3rd of each with the roman bit -  :D

LOL

I think most of us have got a bit of most things in our ancestory.... I fancy the Vandal connection myself as it is such a pain being careful and kind, polite and friendly all the time.. apparently the Vandal crowd / tribe came over from somewhere near what is now the German / Danish border.

Being a Vandal (having a stamp, swear and shout and throwing the odd thing) would be great just once in a while when the hoe, hoe lark goes a bit wrong and something important is unintentionally hoe-hoed  >:(

The "Roman Roads" actualy predate the Romans, although they did do a lot of work improving them with stone bridges, drainage ditches ect.
Rabbits also came over with the Normans, the Romans brought Hares, I think.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

Now that is true - forgot that!!
Normans brought Rabiits
Roman brought Hares
Americans brought Grey Squiggles

and
Ivan brought the hoe!  ::)

Ivan brought the hoe = "Ivan Hoe"

I dont like having a paddy but I dont half feel better when I'm doing it - just told a lad off on way home from work this evening - shouted at him through the car window - he jumped off the pavement (on his bike) swerved in front of the car nearly getting himself run over by my other half,  I told him off!

Think I was just venting after the day I had but he did deserve a telling off for such a stupid prank! does this mean that I should now be 1/4 roman, british, welsh and vandal - gosh, im getting thinner and thinner - at least this is one quick way to loose weight lol!
