Spaceing for sweetcorn

iv just bought some new sweet corn plants and i was wondering how far do i plant then appart ?

I put mine 12" to 18" apart, make sure you plant them in a block to aid pollination

I planted mine about that distance but one of the "old boys" on the plot told me I could have planted them a lot closer together & saved a lot of space, his are closer together & look perfectly fine  :)

I did mine the same spacing but i would also like to try alot closer next year, mine are really healthy now but dont have any tassles does this mean no corn for us  :mellow:

Also, if it were the case that I got no tassles this year, the last thing I'd do is plant them even closer next!

18" for me - every year.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Mine are only around 2ms tall, and not doing much apart from a lot of leaves...
