We left it last night and all looked fine tonight however is a different story it has patches on about half the leaves that look dry and almost see through, I stuck my finger in the soil to see if we had been too kind with the watering can and it wasnt too wet infact maybe too dry

I'm having no luck with cucumbers. Never do 

Only fed them last night and today they are limp

They are just in a poly, did I need extra shade on them  never done cucumbers before, they look awful  :blink:

I always provide shade in my greenhouse and I would guess it's the same in a polytunnel.  Give them some shade and see if it helps.

Ok will the fact it looks so ill affect the cucumbers  sorry to be blonde but its the poly stuff we inherited so we are still learning fast  :blink:

If it is sun scald then it shouldn't affect the cucumbers.  Cut the leaves off, provide shade and make sure there is good ventilation.

I am by no means an expert in growing cucumbers so others might think differently.

Thanks for that, will look at it tomorrow, such a shame as it looked so good, would like to now how the sun got too it as its been AWOL for awhile
