Experience over-wintering Mangetout?

Hi all,
I'm reading 'grow your own vegetables' by Joy Larkcom, which is excellent, and she suggests a cold greenhouse and also, for peas more generally, late autumn sowing in a sheltered spot or covered for an early spring  crop. Has anyone tried over-wintering mangetout and if so what did you do and what variety did you use please? Any advice appreciated. I'm gearing up with a new crop rotation plan and am determined to squeeze every last ounce of produce out of the plot!!!

 I have not tried over-wintering Mangetout before but am going to give it a go this year, with T&M'S Snow Peas ( They are for sprouting really), but after a bit of research, found out they are the Mangetout used in Chinese cooking, and  grow in the colder regions, and are hardy enough to withstand snow falls.
 Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Ears and Eyes open, Gob shut.

I sowed peas (feltham first) in paper rolls in Nov then left them in plastic greenhouse over winter, planted out beginning march, flowered April, ate mid June. Wasn't keen on the taste though so I'll probs try mange tout carouby de mussane (sp?) this time as the ones I planted in March did great.

The snow pea by T&M sounds interesting, I just checked their site and they don't seem to be listing it anymore though  :(
I Wasn't keen on the taste though so I'll probs try mange tout carouby de mussane (sp?) this time as the ones I planted in March did great.

Do they say about hardiness on this variety at all?
