Please can anyone advise me.  Being a bit ditzy , I accidentally picked some of my Canadian Wonder beans mistaking them for ordinary french beans. 

Can I eat them as french beans or do I need to shell them and eat the very small beans inside?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
