My first go at red cabbage-as I cant find the seed packet, how do I know when its ready to eat? It went in at the same time as the broc that I have just picked(if that helps?)

Basically when there's a solid cabbage in the middle!

I find they heart later in the season than others sown at the same time, mine have yet to heart up.
