Hello all, we put some onion sets in our allotment i think it was the second week in april wasnt very organised so lost packet and cant remember the name! they are white tho question when should they be ready ? i know you should wait til tops die back but am planning to go on holiday soon and would be helpful if i knew when to expect them roughly to be ready.I have already bought a large diary for next year so i shouldnt have any more confusion!!!!!

They'll probably flop over some time in August.  Don't worry too much if you're away, they'll wait for your return.

Excellent  thanks, got some red ones in that were planted later they look tiny so dont have high hopes !!!!
