It's ok for you lot to laugh.... but I had the wrong specs on when I "clicked on the link" and was very disappointed to find it didn't work   :blink:   ???

It's only now I have found the right specs that I've been able to actually read it  ::)  :lol:

We invited my parents to dinner as it was Fathers Day - just had to have new potatoes so I "delved" again and this time a decent bagful for dinner.

1st early rocket = lovely!!  :)

2nd earlies are late  ::)

Oops! Sorry  :D

And can I just point out I have officially cracked up..it backfired on me..no-one could give me the answer due to a broken email link, and I am now currently in negotiations with the local bedlum to have time off for good behaviour if I grow them some spuds.

Tis not possible, I cant find out when they are ready  :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

Its coming back...DD .....help me! Theres no flowers on my spuds!!

peapod perhaps your spuds simply aren't ready to flower yet - not everyone / thing likes to be rushed...

It's either that or they've no idea when they are supposed to be ready either  :unsure:

I bought my seed potatoes by the kilo and they were stuck in a paper-bag - if only they had come with instructions written on the bag like when to dig the bu**ers up again!!  :lol:

(Have a delve) = worked for me!!  :) ..... especially once I'd found my specs!  ;)

I often find them (specs not spuds) amongst the lettuces or when I am weeding.... putting them in the top pocket of my shirt is not the brightest of ideas is it??  :nowink:

Just as well I buy cheap pairs as I only need them for reading  8)

Furkle is fine but delve is what I do without the specs on as I tend to do without the fork and use my mits if the soil allows.... that way I don't miss any (I hope!)  ;)

It's all done by feel  :)
