iam growing melons this year and they have started to flower . Is it best to only grow a limited number of fruits per plant  :D

It is because the season simply won't accomadate ripening of all the fruits if left. Wait until you see the first few melons (2-3 per plant) forming then pinch off the growing tips a bit beyond the last one, and any future shoots. Now the plant energy can soley develop these into large fruit. And keep watering and feeding.

Can I ask what variety you are growing rr?

We set a load of seed's this year but have had no joy at all.
