hi guys

I have been given two alysbury ducks today, and wondered is there a simple way of trying to sex them? there fully feathered and about 2 years old?

You should be able to tell by their voice and their plummage. Boys have a curly sex feather by their tail, the girls don't. Girls have a proper quack, boys sound like they have a sore throat.

lol i only got them about and hour before my post so still a bit early so see if any eggs lol.  I will have to listen to them today to see if i can hear them lol

If they are 2 years old they will have their sex feathers if they are boys (although I did have a drake moult his for a while).
