so how do you know if a bird has compacted crop. This morning i picked up Buzz and felt her breast and it felt like there is a golfall there. just had hold of her again and its still the same. is this normal? if not what should i do?

The crop should feel real empty first thing in the morning, so long as they don't have food in with them over night

Have you seen her eating and drinking? Is she pooping as normal and doing other normal behaviors?
When one of my girls had a impacted crop she was twitching her head a lot looked really weird But hers was HUGE

At any time of the day other than first thing in the morning before they've eaten you will be able to feel food in the crop.
