Our Isa Brown is perfectly perky, but have noticed this morning that down either side of her vent and above it she seems to have lost all her feathers. It looks bald and red.
She does seem to peck at it a bit herself. But she's the bully in the pack so i don't think one of the others is doing it to her.

Any ideas?

I would go out at night with a strong light and check for parasites such as mites or lice. It's easiest to check them when they are on the roost.

  Its happened to one of ours, It turned out she had lice. You have to look really close somtimes to see them but their there.
