Tigerella tomatoes
« on: May 08, 2009, 18:50 »
A group of business students at school decided to join together with the horticulture students and start a tomato selling business.  Always happy to support the students in these ventures I ordered 6 Tigerella tomato plants.  They arrived yesterday:

They look pretty worse for wear to me but is this what they should look like with the bends in the main stem?  If anyone has any advice it would be gratefully received!

looks like have been grown on the darkside of the moon,i would repot them in 6" pots and plant them up to the 1st leaf.give them a good drink and maybe a feed in good warm sunlight.
feed the soil not the plants

No, you are right they are in a state. ::)

But, they will come around, plant them up over the bendy bit if you can and off you go...

they'll be fine once buried up to their scraggy little necks  :D  Tigerella is a good tom and usually laughs off blight and is a good griller as it doesn't split, so good with your cooked brekky
