The best day ever
« on: May 04, 2009, 23:33 »
Hi, we went of to B&Q to buy a bike store that can be converted into a duck house (Mallard Lodge as lotty is in a posh area) and first of all tha lad on the till did the 10% twice (hope he don't get in trouble!) then we passed a skip on our way back....
A few days ago we passed the same skip with a really nice slide in it but when we had managed to get enough guts to go and knock we saw that the living room was at the front of the house and there were people waving so we got embarrassed and skedaddled.
There was a man out ther today and so we stopped and explained that our chooks would love the slide and he told us to help ourselves. Then he told us that the shredder still worked, the flat screen telly could probably be fixed, did we want a lawnmower? Oh did we want some hardwood folding recliner chairs (RRP £175) couLd we use a 3 burner gas bbq he had only used twice and if we are building a chicken run would the TEN 4"x4" fence posts behind his shed be any good? I'm pooped but feeling incredibly happy, Nic X

Thank you everyone! Just spoke to my allotment mate and she couldn't sleep she was so hyped up. Can't wait to get building now, Nic.

I haven't seen any of them, I'm usually cooking. My mate loves it though and tells me what has been found. My real job involves making those antique linen sheets into curtains, blinds and chair covers as they showed a few weeks ago. Nic.
