Hi there, does anyone have any ideas as to the following codition:
I have a hen who:
Has hardly ever (if ever) laid any eggs
Gone off her food
Drinks quite a lot of water
Spends a lot of time standing with her eyes closed
Goes to bed a couple of hours before the others
In the morning is the last out and often I have to get her out
Her wings seem to be hanging low
When standing she is not upright, slightly crouching
Has very very runny/watery poo
Keeps to herself
I have felt her all over and can find no lumps or bumps
She has lost a lot of weight and is very skinny
She is a little over one year old

to be honest she doesn't sound too good at all ...

i would try taking her out for the weekend and try and keep her serpate, if that doesn't help. ......
when our chickens get to that state, we say that they have had their time and unfortunatly have to kill them off 
i would think about replacing her

crumbs, don't kill her off yet, is she wheezing? can you not take her to a vet? if that's not your way, there's always someone on here that can help.
