Prob a very daft question, but I bought a corriander plant & have been using it in cooking, just went to pick more & noticed it had started to bolt. Now, here's the silly bit, will the coriander grow back next year or do I need to let it bolt sometime & collect the seeds & start again.

I could be wrong, and if i am i hope someone will correct me quick smart, but i'm pretty darn sure that coriander will die off each year and you'll need to collect the seeds and plant again. i suppose if you stop it from flowering and keep it warm it might just carry on, but i don't think so.
lovely stuff, gorgeous taste. i haven't grown it for years but i just planted some seeds the other day.

Thats what coriander does, i'm afraid. You have to keep on sowing it every few weeks if you want a continual supply

there are varieties selected for leaf production which would be slower to bolt than the varieties selected for seed production.
However they all tend to go to seed in summer so best to keep sowing at regular intervals for a continuous supply
