collars for brassicas
« on: April 29, 2009, 10:41 »

I'm going to make some collars at the weekend out of cardboard, do I need to do them for all the brassicas?  I've got cabbages, cauliflowers and broccoli ??

not sure if I am right here or not... but I don't use collars because I totally cover them with fleece and I think the collars are used to stop the white cabbage root fly from laying its eggs in the stem, so yes is the answer for ALL brassicas.
