Sage / Salvia flowering?
« on: May 02, 2009, 18:13 »
Hello,

I have noticed that my sage plants are flowering.  They have never done this before so does this mean that they are trying to send out seed before they die or is it just one of those things.  The plants look really healthy and have not been under any stress that I am aware of.

Thanks.

Normal, culinary sage?  They should be OK, although you can give them a trim now if you'd rather they didn't flower.

Some years the sage flowers and some years it doesn't.........dunno why, but it doesn't mean it's gonna die :)
