Hi cudders

One of two things you can do :)
Get her some fertile eggies or keep chucking her off the nest and remove all eggs :)

What breed is she,  she might get bored sooner rather than later as some breeds will sit & sit whilst others do it for a day or so then get off :)

If you don't want her to rear any young the longer you leave her sitting the longer it'll take her to start laying again :)

Arm yourself with gauntlets, get the hen out and shut her out of that nest box for a day, collect the eggs and do this every day until she stops being broody.

I actually change all the bedding etc and rearrange things as chickens do not like change so then that will put her in a "moody" you will then have a moody broody!!

She will soon get the message.

Good luck my Pekin Clara has today decided after 3 weeks to stop being broody yippee. Nothing seemed to stop her she was determined. I gave up shutting her out in the end because it upset the other two too much and just removed her three or four times a day to feed and stretch her legs.

My silkie has now been broody for about 8 weeks, but this time round she comes out by herself in a morning for food, water and a poop, has a wander round then goes back in....I turf her out a few times a day but she does come out herself now and again.  She doesn't seem to mind me taking the eggs from underneath her (think she's just got used to it now!)  She just waits for one of the others to lay and goes and sit on that one...she's not choosy!!!!

Think it's just a waiting game!!!!
