They are just comming up for POL, we've had them two weeks now and have been feeding them well. We started off with four warrens in november and thought we'd get some more but I think another six was too many . He wants to keep the light sussex and we've decided half a dozen eggs a day is fine, but I would love to keep them all as they are such lovely little things but until we win the lottery and buy a farm I have to realise no more chickens and definately no pigs BOO HOO! :( The silver sussex are nosey little things and the lavenders are still quite timid but be stuck in a coop all day is no life for any chicken and I want them to have a happy one! :)

Thank you for your interest the girls went to a lady just round the corner from us saturday afternoon. We went visiting yesterday to take them some treats and have been told we can pop round when ever we like. They live in a orchard with lots of other chickens and have their own sleeping quarters and don't seem to be getting bullied as much! We will miss them but they have a lovely life now and we can still see them win win all round the lady has even kept their names :D :D :D
