I took some runners last year to give to my son's nursery but didn't give them the plants in time for planting so I put them in ghouse over the winter.   I am going to put them in some fresh compost over theweekend but was wondering when to give them to the nursery to plant?

ASAP I would think. Mine went in last week.

Are they to be grown in pots or planted out?

It's getting towards the end of the time for planting, really. They may not provide much fruit in the first summer.

I think it would have been best for them to go out last autumn.
