Goat Poo
« on: March 09, 2009, 11:15 »
I,ve been offered some well rotted goat/chicken poo(5 yrs old). Is this ok to use right away in pots for my spuds and things and to dig in to my raised beds?

Old goat and chicken manure is great for the gardens, both veg and ornamental, just don't get too heavy handed with it as they're both high in nitrogen. They can be dug in right away and also used as mulch, particularly for crops like corn.
