hi all,

          Im still new and cant get my head around manuring. ive dug out 4 plots turn the soil and built the raised beds. but i dont know what to do with them when it comes to adding manure. the turned soil is 6-7 inches lower than the raised bed im assuming to add manure then topsoil to bring it up to the top of the rasied bed am i right sofar? but my manure query is how fresh can it be im talking months till i can put it on and mix it in.

There isn't a quick answer in months: it depends (like making compost) on how it's stacked and stored.  The only helpful answer is that once it smells and feels OK (like soil, not excrement!) it's OK.
