hi all,

         busy time is allmost upon us allotys,some prepared some un like me lol.
 im probably boring people now but cant help asking asking asking. my plot is situated 1 metre away from a horse manure heap 10ft high 20ft wide and 15ft deep. now my question is do i need to do any thing with my soil or will all the goodness  from the heap make soil surrounding it fertile?

Unless your plot is directly downhill from it, I don't think it will get any benefit.

Actually even if you do get run off from it, you will only be getting the soluble nutrients not the organic matter.
