hi my fellow lottiers, i recenty took delivery of my first earlys accent potatoes thought it was a bit early [about 3 weeks ago] to put into ground  so i left them in the box and stored away in my utility room which is nice and dark and not to warm,but i have just checked them and they are really shooting some of them are nearly a inch with some having three or four shoots,what is best to do?? i think its to cold for the ground still,help please

Put them out in trays bit nearer the light, so they can chit properly. Knock off the really long shoots. they will grow more before you have to plant them. Unheated but frostproof conditions are best.

mine have been chitting for a while now. ive got some pictures on my blog of what i think they are supposed to look like. im sure someone will be along to correct me if not lol :D
