Can I use lawn cuttings for mulch on runner beans, will it attract slugs?? Any other suggestions welcome

Hi there daisyroots, i'm using grass clippings around my fruit trees and bushes, there great.
Even after a dry spell the soil underneith them is still wet and the weeds are now none existent, you get the odd pirenial comming through but thats it.

can't say if the slugs are a problem though, because they didn't touch my fruit trees (etc) before i used the grass cuttings.

One word of warning, i posted a very similar post to this and John said to be careful about useing clippings if weed and feed has been used on the grass.
