is anyone else having issues trying to get hold of lime this year i have been to 6 yes 6! garden suppliers and not one has any at all itsmadness

Why do you want to put lime on your soil?

If the crops are good leave it alone.

i am starting on a new bit of the plot this year. last year could only us 1/3rd of it due to water issues (thank you council for fixing it) so nothing has been grown on it for 10 year !! also need some for home as certain parts were not very productive

Do we need to lime?

My soil is acidic, I've never lime'd in the Garden Veg plot (just behind the allotment) so I shouldn't need to.

I was just going to use my normal pelleted Chicken Poo, so no Muck either.
