Hi All

Our local allotment society doesn't allow keeping of poultry and we wondered if there is anywhere local that does allow keeping of chickens or ducks

Preferably South Leicestershire

No chooks on our allotment either, so it's the back garden for me! It may be worth looking at any farmland near you and finding out who owns it and if they would let you keep chickens on it. I know some land near us has been sold off, ultimately for development, but that will not be for quite a few years yet. Most of the land is being rented for crops by a farmer, but some of it is just lying neglected and I know the owners would consider renting it out to someone for keeping either chickens or a couple of pigs on (but my name is down for it  ) Worth looking round where you are though
