Hello all, my question is How long should I keep my peeps on peep starter.  They hatched out on Jan. 1.  they are on peep starter only.  I bought some peeps from a man and they are probably 2-3 months old.  I have them on peep food and I mix a little wheat with it.  When can I put them on reg. food.  I feed meat bird crum 24 % protien, bird seed, wheat, chicken scratch,egg layer crum 16% prot, and a mix of deer meat in the winter to my older birds.  Please Help.   Also when can I add apple cider ving. to their water.  The older birds get it daily.  Thanks yf Bety

According to one of my books "katie Thear - Incubation guide " she suggests 5 weeks old

If I remember correctly ( seems ages since my last hatch  ) I swapped mine over to a growers mix at 6 weeks
As soon as they were out with the bigger birds it was difficult to stop them eating the wrong stuff so I gave up on the growers LOL I think they were about 12 weeks then
