Black fly on strawberries
« on: March 03, 2007, 19:05 »
Spent some time today taking the dead leaves off the strawberry plants, the new plants from last years runners had flowers forming on them and they were covered with black fly.  I have removed the flowers so that the plants will make more growth but wondered if anyone else had this problem so early in the year.  If I find anymore is it safe to spray with soapy water?
