Does anyone know if there are breeders/keeper of IR ducks in the Kent area? I have found and lost a link to poultry sales that included IR's at foot of North Downs possibly Detling..
I have a couple of ideas for this week to follow up and a great duck house waiting! Also will we need to fence off the veg patch, some say yes as they (IR'S) like lettuce etc, what do others think :?:
New to duck keeping, thought try Indian Runners.

YES - fence them off the veg patch.  You can let them on when there isn't anything to eat / trample 'cos they'll certainly clean up the slugs.

Indian Runners aren't the best breed if its eggs you want (Khaki Campbell for eggs).  Great ducks though - they use them to train young sheepdogs (is that why you are called spot).
