I am going to get from Santa a propergator and have seen one I like.
It has two trays and a controled thermastat.
I have looked at cable heating but dismiss that, to fiddly.
Have one draw back, no electric on the allotment so will have to use the conservatory.  (wife has OKed this)
Botanic Propergator, about £57, just found the name but before Santa spends his cash will have a look in the garden center.
Merry Christmas to every one
Reg
I'm lost without my SatNav.

Hope you get on OK with your propagator, Reg. Personally I've never found the need for one.

Whatever you do, don't fall into the trap that a lot of folk do.

Only use it for stuff that really needs heat, peppers, tomatoes etc. (definitely not brassicas!) and don't leave the seedlings in once germinated, they will get leggy & drawn.

Sorry if I'm teaching Granny to suck eggs, but I'm just thinking about all the threads posted this year from disappointed people who had done just that.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I forgot about some heritage tomatoes I had in a heated propagator a few years back and when i finally remembered - it was like spaghetti junction!
