I have 1 1/2 packets of halloumi left over. I made halloumi & veg kebabs on Christmas day - which almost no-one ate (visiting veggies) - what else can i do with it please?

Never having cooked with it, this one got me stumped! However,

Lucky you! I love halloumi. My favourite cooking method is very simply sliced and fried in oil until golden brown. Serve with salad and a nice balsamic dressing. Delish!

I'm a halloumi addict and I wouldn't recommend putting it in with pasta, it has to be grilled or fried or it won't have the right texture/taste. I grill it then add garlic and chilli sauce, have it in a pitta bread, or on kebabs, think I posted a recipe ages ago for it. I'm naughty sometimes and just fry it til it's brown all over cube it and eat it as a snack, mmm

I used to have a restaurant and one of our most popular starters was fried haloumi with bacon served simply with balsamic dressed salad leaves.

Yup Sal, very tasty, very easy.
We've got a couple coming over for supper tomorrow night, now you've got me thinking about Haloumi might have it as a starter before our Moroccan lamb with herb dumplings.
